3 Foolproof Keys to Health, Wealth and Happiness in 2020 (+ 5 Rock-Solid Tips)

Facing the Problems Head-on
You are part of the world in chaos and you know you have problems. You want to find solutions and ways to protect yourself.
First of all, you need to know what you are up against.
2020 is the beginning of a “Greater” Depression since the decade-long Great Depression from 1929 to 1939.
The World Financial Review predicted as early as December 2018, based on the authoritative opinion of multiple respected sources like Forbes, JPMorgan, and Moody’s Analytics, that:
“there is a foregone conclusion that 2020 is the date that crash 2.0 will wreak havoc once again”
This is validated by a more recent study by The Atlanta in their July/August 2020 issue that “The U.S. financial system could be on the cusp of calamity. This time, we might not be able to save it”.
The World Health Organization (“WHO”) declared the Coronavirus(COVID-19) as a pandemic on 11 March 2020.
From the WHO chart above, you can see the rapid spread of COVID-19 worldwide, with the continent of the Americas being the worst-hit followed by Europe. The mortality rate is estimated by WHO to be 3.4% globally as of March 2020, which means 3 to 4 persons are dying for every 100 persons infected.
Most parts of the world are in turmoil as the fear of infection and death have brought economic activities to a virtual standstill. Countries have closed borders and travel is widely restricted with mandatory quarantine in most cities for the brave adventurers.
On top of the COVID-19 health crisis, the United Nations also reported a growing mental health crisis as economies, families, and lives are devastated. The United Nations highlighted that the depression and anxiety were already costing the global economy more than $1 trillion a year before the coronavirus pandemic. The situation from 2020 can only be much worse.
Doom and gloom of the Order of Revelation seem to be around the corner for mankind.
Is there hope?

We now know what we are up against.
The Trio Bloodcurlding Nightmares as described above can devastate our health, wealth, and happiness. That represents almost everything we hold dear in our lives.
What weapons do we have?
God has given us the 3 keys of Faith, Hope, and Love to battle the satanic forces of this world (1 Corinthians 13:13):
And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love.
The hazardous path to God and the meaning of life is by no means easy to walk. Prayer and spiritual studies are needed to activate the 3 divine keys to help you in your spiritual battles and strengthen your mental composure. #1 Battle Against Covid-19
COVID-19 is spreading like wildfire throughout the world leaving a trail of destruction in its path. Don’t listen to politicians with ulterior motives and personal agendas who don’t give 2 hoots about your welfare and your lives. Listen to global news and do your research.
WHO has given a set of comprehensive guidelines and advice to the public on how to protect themselves against COVID-19. The guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) are summarised below:
Wear reusable or disposable gloves for routine cleaning and disinfection.
Clean surfaces using soap and water, then use disinfectant.
Clean or launder items according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds.
If someone is sick, keep a separate bedroom and bathroom for the person who is sick (if possible).

#2 Battle Against Economic Crisis
Let’s face it.
The future of work will see unprecedented changes wrought by the rapid adoption of technological changes, the forced adoption or remote working, and socio-demographic changes brought about by the aging population.
When I wrote an article on “Why You Should Start a Business After 50 (Even Without Money)”, I was surprised by the viral feedback from the inspiration it had created, especially in women. I surmised that many people are suffering from the uncertainties of recent world events and disasters. They need a stable income stream that they can control but fear the risks of business failures.

I have to be honest with you. This is a monstrous topic to deal with and I am not a psychiatrist. However, I understand depression, anxiety, and pain as I have been through the pits of hell and back in my 50+ years of life journey.
For me, the essence of happiness is not in the pursuit of wealth or health or even happiness itself. They are fleeting concepts and like water, the harder you try to hold on to them, the more they will slip through your fingers.
Interestingly, I discovered that the more genuinely I tried to help others, the happier I became and things in life miraculously got easier.

You start by being cognizant of your surroundings to stay ahead of the problems.
I have been a victim of scams and have faced numerous difficulties in life unnecessarily because of my lack of knowledge, laziness to learn, and my self-centered approach to life. The life-changing experiences from surviving numerous crises have changed my perspectives on life.
I understand that changing some habits acquired through the years is tough. The only solace I could give myself when I was down and out was that the only way left was up. Start climbing and you will gradually get out of the pit you are in.
One short-cut to dealing with problems is to learn from others. For example, I have listened extensively to global news and read widely to understand what COVID-19 was all about. I took the required precautions for myself and my family based on what I have learned. I have shared some of my findings on how 4 of the better-managed economies in Asia tackled the crises in their respective countries.
Through my extensive research, I realized a few years ago that I was completely out of touch with the rapidly advancing technology. I went on a learning expedition over the last 2 years to update my skills in website design, online marketing, SEO, guest blogging, and content marketing.
I have lost a lot of money to scammers masqueraded as “gurus” who touted “get-rich schemes” and I have learned how to avoid those. The invaluable takeaway for me is to master the skills and strategies and avoid the tactics and short-term approaches to success.
If you are in a similar position as I was, my advice is to start with the basics and start with one skill. There are a lot of free courses or low-cost lessons where you can pick up the basic skills first. My advice is to try free or cheap courses first. These courses often come with more expensive options but hold back till you know what you want and have developed a learning plan or strategy.
You may develop a liking for website design or writing. Once you know your natural talents through what you like to do, research available courses and narrow down to those with a good reputation. Check all the testimonials and reviews from independent sources. Ideally, you need a good mentor but settle for good reputable courses if you can’t afford the much higher fees that usually come with mentorship.
